The International Journal of Modern Engineering (IJME) was founded by Mark Rajai in spring of 2000. It is the first peer-reviewed online journal covering topics that appeal to a broad readership of engineering, engineering–technology, and industrial–technology fields.
The journal is an independent publication, which aims to provide the online engineering community with a resource and forum for scholarly expression and reflection. IJME is steered by a distinguished Board of Directors and is supported by an international review board consisting of prominent individuals representing many well-known universities, colleges, and corporations in the United States and abroad.
IJME is published twice annually (Fall and Spring issues) and includes peer-reviewed articles, book and software reviews, editorials, and commentary that contribute to our understanding of the issues, problems, and research associated with the engineering and engineering technology and related fields. The journal encourages the submission of manuscripts from private, public, and academic sectors. The views expressed are those of the authors, and do not necessarily reflect the opinions of IJME or its editors.
